Quin‘Nita Cobbins-Modica is a historian and educator whose research, teaching, and writing focus on the history of Black women, social activism, and politics in the American West. She is presenting her book, "We Are Also in Bondage Here" as a member of the Humanities of Washington Speakers Bureau at the Olympia Timberland Library 313 8th Ave SE.

THE LET‘S TALK ABOUT MULTICULTURAL AMERICA book group meets every other month to read about people of various cultural, economic, indigenous, ethnic, racial, gender, and immigrant backgrounds to better understand the diversity around us. After our discussion, members suggest books they‘ve read and appreciated for the next time.
