Thurston County Elections Department Observer Training is being held for residents who want to know more about the process and/or who would like to monitor the ballot counting process and can help validate the accuracy of our election. Training to be an observer By law, the Democratic and Republican parties are entitled to have election observers, and now many county election officials in Washington are inviting nonpartisan observers to participate as well.
