If you are registered to vote in your county, you will receive a ballot in the mail. If you have moved since you registered, you will need to change your address. Go to VoteWa.gov to change your address or you will not receive a ballot.

Just vote on the issues and candidates you feel strongly about. You don’t have to completely fill out your ballot. It will still be processed and counted.

A local Voters’ Pamphlet is mailed to every registered voter about three weeks before the Primary and the General Elections. The Secretary of State’s Office also sends a Voters’ Guide when there are state-wide elections. You can watch Candidate Forums the League of Women Voters of Thurston County produces to learn much more . The League of Women Voters does not support any political candidates or political parties

The Voters’ Pamphlet is for the entire county. You will vote for the ones in your district.

You can re-register using a paper form, download a form, or fill out a form at the Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Voter Services office located at: 2400 Evergreen Park Dr. SW, Olympia, WA 98502.

Elections officials report that printed signatures are legal.

Go to VoteWa.gov, and you will be able to verify whether your ballot was accepted. If it wasn’t accepted because you forgot to sign the envelope, you will receive a letter explaining what to do.

After signing the envelope, put it in the US mail or a ballot box before 8pm on election day. No stamp is required.

What is a Future Voter?
A Future Voter is a teen who is pre-registered to vote at age 16 or 17 and will be automatically eligible to vote during the first election after their 18th birthday. If you turn 18 between the primary and general elections, you can now vote as a 17-year-old in the primary!
