The LWVTC Tribal Position Team has arranged for another tour of a local tribal community. Chair Kris Peters will introduce us to the Squaxin Museum where large wall panels hang depicting the seven inlets of the Squaxin Island Tribe. The wall panels provide a collage of historical and contemporary photographs of tribal members and sites. We will also have the opportunity examine the museum’s woven basket collection made from cedar, cattail, and sweet grass.
